Preparing for Surgery

Creating Calm and an optimum state for rapid healing

This is a highly effective process that is very easy to use.  Just think, visualize, imagine, say, think and expect positive results.  This is your situation, your surgery and is can be a much more positive experience that you might be aware of.  You have the power!   I know, I have used the process on myself, my family, my friends and clients, successfully.  It does work.  It is simple.  How?  Just keep your mind in the “right mindset” and create a positive outcome and much less traumatic experience.

Surgery can be an event that creates fear, uncertainty and anxiety.  Simply using a relaxation process and receiving positive suggestions are proven to dramatically reduce negative effects and actually create many positive ones.

Many doctors are amazed at the rapid healing that can occur with these processes. You can release the fears of surgery and start your healing even before you go into surgery. This can be accomplished with pre, during and post surgery sessions, and/or suggestions!

Create a peaceful condition in your body to prepare for surgery. Relax, practicing deep breathing, telling your body to relax, target muscle groups and continue to tell yourself “you are relaxing more and more”. Create the optimum condition in your mind and body to be prepared for surgery.

Our body contains within it a natural healing mechanism that may be activated by positive words, thoughts, emotions, suggestions, images and even music. Research shows that stress can affect the healing and state of health after surgery. So, feeling relaxed and prepared will help you put your body in the best possible state for surgery and for the needed healing afterwards. Releasing any stress and creating a calm, peaceful environment has also been proven to help balance the immune system, change the speed of healing, reduce blood pressure, prevent infection, reduce pain and the need for pain medication, reduce swelling, and help to heal your body faster. It can even shorten the length of surgery and hospital stay; reduce the amount of anesthesia, and even the amount of blood needed.  You will feel more positive, your immune system will be stronger and you likely will have fewer complications if any. In addition, studies also shows that a positive attitude dramatically affects healing time and healing meditations can dramatically affect the immune system to create a healthier outcome.
